Interior timing depends on how many rooms are included, how much patching and sanding the walls need, and whether trim, doors, and ceilings are part of the job; we can work whole-home or room by room. Most exteriors take three to six working days, depending on size, prep, and weather. Either way, you get a realistic schedule before we start, and we tell you as soon as anything changes.

Late spring through early autumn is the reliable exterior window, because coatings need consistent temperatures and dry surfaces to cure properly. Interior painting works year-round, and fall and winter are a strong fit because our schedule opens up once exterior season slows. Booking early in the season gets you a better choice of dates.

For most kitchens with sound cabinet boxes, refinishing costs far less. Refinishing keeps the existing boxes, which are the solid and expensive part, and renews every surface you see with a factory-smooth sprayed finish. It also avoids tearing out countertops and backsplashes, which is where replacement costs climb.

Preparation is where most of our time goes. Outside, that means washing, scraping, sanding, spot priming, and caulking before any finish coat. Inside, we cover floors and furniture, then patch, sand, caulk, and prime where needed.

Not all of it. Take down pictures, mirrors, and wall items, clear small items and valuables, and pull smaller furniture toward the middle of the room if you can. We cover whatever stays and work around larger pieces.

Floors and furniture stay covered while we work, and work areas are left tidy at the end of each workday, not just at the end of the job. When the project is done, we do a full clean-up and walk through the finished work with you before we call it complete.
